Having danced all my life, I went on to train professionally at The Arts Educational School of Musical Theatre, London.
After graduating, I went on to be part of a girl band and also performed in a number of different roles, both on stage and television.
Alongside the acting work, I trained in Exercise to Music and fell in love with teaching. So much so I decided to take it further and become a Personal Trainer.
I am now a freelance PT and fitness class instructor based in top corporate gyms in the city of London.
For the last 6 and a half years I can honestly say that I have never dreaded going to work. As cheesy as it sounds, there is nothing more rewarding than knowing you are helping people not only achieve their body goals, but contributing to their health from the inside out.
Alongside my teaching and personal training, I create fitness programmes and teach them online, giving people the opportunity to exercise in the comfort of their own home. I worked for a fitness channel for three and a half years and I am now working on more programmes which I am going to launch on my own in the near future.
Although exercising and keeping active is extremely important, the nutritional side of things is even more so. I am a firm believer that whatever you put into your body is what you can expect to get out - if you eat rubbish, you will feel rubbish. I am very passionate about this and always help clients create a good life balance, passing on my nutritional knowledge.
It is my goal to help people choose the most nutrient dense products which is why I decided to brand my own range. This way I can ensure people are getting the very best quality. My first health products are 'Leigh Linton Matcha Tea' and 'Leigh Linton Baobab' of which I am particularly proud.
Although I think exercise is an essential component of every day life, I like to have fun and not take it too seriously. I believe that variety is always a good thing and having a positive frame of mind will always help you to achieve your goals!"
